About Me

Hii everyoneđź’–

My name is Kinley Bidha, and I am currently in my second year of pursuing a Bachelors Degree of Education in Primary General at Paro College of Education. I completed my high school education at Lhuentse Higher Secondary School, and I am originally from Radhi, which is under Tashigang Dzongkhag but I reside there at Sipsu, Samtse.

During my vacations, I like to keep myself engaged by participating in various workshops and advocacy programs, particularly those related to youth empowerment and peer education. As a youth peer educator, I actively take part in programs aimed at raising awareness on important social issues, including health, education, SRHR, and personal development. These workshops not only help me gain practical knowledge but also give me the opportunity to share valuable insights with my peers and promote positive change within my community.

I have been an active member of YPEER since I joined college and even completed my NToT in the 21st batch. I also had the honor of representing YPEER PCE at the 8th National YPEER Meet. Following that, I have been serving as the Member Secretary of YPEER PCE. In addition to my work with YPEER, I am a passionate volunteer at the Paro Youth Centre, where I’ve been a core member since my first year. I also serve as the Media Focal Person for SCCI plus club, where I help manage and promote the club’s activities through various media channels, ensuring that our projects and initiatives reach a wider audience.. On Saturdays, I dedicate my time to teaching English to ANIM students, which is a fulfilling way to contribute to their learning and growth.

When it comes to my personal interests, I'm a huge fan of the color baby pink, and Coke has always been my drink of choice, I’ve been in love with it for as long as I can remember! Besides keeping myself engaged with meaningful activities, I also love watching tutorial videos, especially DIYs. I find them very inspiring, and I enjoy learning new skills that I hope to one day put to use in a productive way. Whether it's creating something practical or just having fun with a craft, DIYs bring me a lot of joy.

There was a time when I became completely obsessed with making bouquets. I watched several tutorial videos and decided to give it a try. I went out and bought all the materials I needed, and then I set to work on creating it. At first, it was really challenging, and it took me so much longer than I expected. But in the end, the result was totally worth it! I felt so proud of myself for successfully making a beautiful bouquet of roses, all thanks to the tutorial videos. So, the moral of the story is that watching videos and spending time on your phone doesn’t always mean you’re wasting time. Sometimes, it can be a great way to learn new skills and explore your creativity. In my case, it led me to make something beautiful, like a bouquet of roses, and that experience taught me that learning can happen in the most unexpected ways.
